Ahead of tonight’s Inside the NBA and game action on TNT, here’s what you need to know from the world of the NBA in the past seven days, including a wild trade deadline which had former No. 1 pick Markelle Fultz dealt from the Sixers to the Magic.

 

Anthony Davis is staying in New Orleans for the rest of the season after no trade was made before the trade deadline. Brad Turner of The Los Angeles Times says the Lakers pulled out of trade talks because they deemed New Orleans’ requests “ridiculous.” ESPN’s Brian Windhorst says the Pelicans attempted to sabotage the Lakers because of the perceived tampering to get Davis to Los Angeles.

Kevin Durant comes out firing against the media, telling reports to “grow up.” Durant also called out a reporter by name for making things up.

 

 

 

Kobe Bryant says this style of play from the Rockets can’t win a championship. Some have taken the comments out of context, but Bryant said Harden is doing what he has to do to keep the team afloat and win games. Harden’s 30+ point streak is now at 28 games.

 

 

 

 

John Wall underwent surgery on his torn Achilles and will be out 12 months.
