2018-2019 NBA Top Weekly Moments Recap (November 8, 2018)

Ahead of tonight’s Inside the NBA and game action on TNT, here’s what you need to know from the world of the NBA in the past seven days.

The 2018-2019 NBA All-Star draft will be televised, according to The New York Times, setting up potentially-awkward situations for the team captains.

The Miami Heat and AmericanAirlines Arena have revealed their “Vice Night” court to a ton of fanfare.

Joel Embiid drops 41 points against the Clippers and follows it up with a 39-point performance (including 21 in the second quarter) against rival Andre Drummond. Embiid is averaging 27.7 points with 12.4 rebounds this season.

Jamal Murray scored a career-high 48 points to lead the Nuggets over the Celtics, but Kyrie Irving was not happy about him going for 50 with the game in-hand.

Jimmy Butler returned to action after sitting out as part of his effort to get traded. Derrick Rose (seven three-pointers) stays hot with his second 30-point game of the season, but LeBron James and the Lakers emerge with a victory to drop the Timberwolves to 4-8.
