Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins sees zero touches in playoff loss.

Wilkins was targeted once, but didn't record a carry or reception. The Ole Miss product showed some ability as a rookie, but at best, he will be the No. 3 back behind Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines in 2019.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins rushed twice for nine yards in Saturday's win over Houston.

Wilkins had a couple nice runs, but Marlon Mack (26 touches for 154 yards and one touchdown) dominated in the 21-7 victory. Indy will likely try to establish the run once again next week in Kansas City as they look to upset the Chiefs.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins gets four touches in Week 17.

Wilkins carried three times for 18 yards and caught one pass for five yards against the Titans, bringing the rookie running back's first regular season to a close with 60 carries for 336 yards and one touchdown along with 16 receptions for 85 yards. Wilkins does a good job mixing in behind Marlon Mack, and he'll get some opportunities to do damage in the postseason.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins catches one pass against the Cowboys.

Wilkins gained six yards on his lone Week 15 reception, as he made a nice catch on a screen where he picked up a low pass and secured it before ganging positive yardage. Wilkins isn't a fantasy option right now, with Marlon Mack clearly leading Indy's backfield.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins gets one touch in Week 13.

Wilkins caught one pass for no yards against the Jaguars. The Colts threw the ball 52 times, so there weren't many opportunities on the ground for any of their running backs (Marlon Mack had eight carries and Nyheim Hines had four carries). Wilkins is more of a dynasty-league option for now.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins caught three passes for 32 yards as the Colts beat the Dolphins, 27-24.

Wilkins didn't record a carry (and lost a fumble), but he will likely have an extended role next week if Marlon Mack (concussion) is unable to go. Still, hopefully the starter is cleared, and even if he isn't, Nyheim Hines would be the preferred fantasy play in all formats against Jacksonville's stout front.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins scores first career touchdown in Colts' win.

Wilkins carried four times for 30 yards in the Week 12 victory, as he took a toss 18 yards for a score. Congrats to the rookie running back, who showed great vision and patience, on his first NFL touchdown. Wilkins is just a dynasty-league option for now, though next week against the Dolphins he might get some opportunities to gash a poor run defense.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins breaks long run in Week 10.

Wilkins received just one carry against the Jaguars, but he made it count by taking it 53 yards for the longest run by a Colt since Donald Brown in 2011. The rookie running back isn't getting enough touches to be a fantasy option right now, so he's just a dynasty-league hold.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins rushed twice for 14 yards in Sunday's win over the Raiders.

Wilkins didn't see much playing time with Marlon Mack (27 touches) and Nyheim Hines (13 touches) handling most of the work and combining for 210 rushing yards. The rookie doesn't need to be owned in redraft leagues heading into the bye, and his dynasty stock has undoubtedly taken a hit with Marlon Mack suddenly looking like a star.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins gets seven touches in Week 7.

Wilkins carried six times for 46 yards and added one reception for eight yards against the Bills. He ran the ball well, but Marlon Mack had 21 touches for 159 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Wilkins isn't a recommended fantasy option as long as Mack is on the field.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins loses fumble in Colts' loss.

Nyheim Hines (22 touches) started the game and received most of the work in Indy's backfield, but Wilkins mixed in and ran the ball well with his opportunities, carrying six times for 39 yards while adding two receptions for nine yards. The rookie did lose a fumble, though, as veteran safety Devin McCourty stood him up and stripped the ball from him. Wilkins faces the Jets next week and is not a highly-recommended fantasy option even if Marlon Mack (hamstring) remains out.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins gets eight carries against the Texans.

Wilkins gained just 16 yards in the Week 4 overtime loss, as Houston did a great job of shutting down Indy's running game. Through four games, the rookie running back is on pace for 152 carries, 544 rushing yards, 28 receptions, and 100 receiving yards. Wilkins will be a weak FLEX option if Marlon Mack (hamstring) is unable to go on Thursday night.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins gets eight touches against the Eagles.

With Marlon Mack out for his second game of the season, Wilkins drew another start for the Colts. The rookie running back had six carries for 19 yards and two receptions for one yard in the Week 3 loss. There simply wasn't much room to run for the Colts, who should find more room next week at home against the Texans. Wilkins would be in the FLEX conversation if Mack remains out.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins gets 12 touches in Week 2.

Marlon Mack returned after missing one game because of a hamstring injury, but the rookie Wilkins still received the most work in Indy's backfield, carrying ten times for 61 yards while adding two receptions for three yards. Wilkins broke a run of 18 yards in the win against the Redskins, and he outperformed Mack (ten carries, 34 yards). However, Nyheim Hines scored on a carry deep in the red zone, and this is a full-blown committee backfield. Also, Mack might get more touches in Week 3, so Wilkins is difficult to trust as a FLEX option.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

Jordan Wilkins handles 17 touches in first career start.

The rookie rushed 14 times for 40 yards and caught three passes for 21 yards as the Colts fell to the Bengals, 34-23. Wilkins didn't do anything to keep Marlon Mack (hamstring) from being the starter when he returns, but he will probably continue to be involved if Indy uses a backfield committee as expected. That said, he won't be anything more than a decent FLEX option if he draws another start in Week 2 against Washington.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

The Colts are happy with running back Jordan Wilkins.

Wilkins didn't appear in the team's opening preseason game until the fourth quarter, but he had an first-down to help clinch the game late, which impressed head coach Frank Reich and running backs coach Tom Rathman. Colts offensive coordinator Tom Sirianni called Wilkins "just a good football player," which he noted is "one of the best compliments I think you can ever give as a coach." With Marlon Mack (hamstring) week-to-week, Wilkins could get more first-team reps moving forward; if the rookie takes advantage of them, he could have a big role to start the season. Wilkins is a player to watch in the final two or three preseason games.

Jordan Wilkins | Colts RB

The Colts have selected Ole Miss running back Jordan Wilkins with the 169th pick (fifth round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Wilkins joins Nyheim Hines on Day 3 as a new running back for Frank Reich's offense. The Ole Miss product has more size than Hines, and he could carve out an early role with just Marlon Mack, Josh Ferguson, and Matt Jones currently on the depth chart. Remember, Reich used multiple backs as the Eagles offensive coordinator last season. Wilkins could be worth a late-round flier with a strong preseason, but Mack and Hines are the clear favorites for touches in 2018.
