Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay (ankle) will not return against the Cowboys.

It's unclear when Clay was injured, but he was carted off the sideline in the first half and his night is over. Clay was returning punts for the Giants tonight, so perhaps Odell Beckham Jr. could get some time as a returner in the second half.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay fumbles punt in Week 1 loss.

Unfortunately, the fumbles punt didn't give the Giants one last shot on offense, sealing the Jaguars Week 1 victory. Mistakes happen, and hopefully Clay gets a chance to make up for it with the Giants.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

The Giants claimed wide receiver Kaelin Clay.

Clay has been with the Panthers and Bills for the last year-plus, getting waived by Buffalo yesterday. He will fill a reserve receiver role with the ability to contribute on special teams for the Giants.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

The Bills waived Kaelin Clay.

The former Panthers receiver, who spent parts of last year with Buffalo, didn't quite make the final cut for the Bills. He'll probably land with another team soon.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

The Bills are signing wide receiver Kaelin Clay.

Clay spent the beginning of last season with Buffalo before the Panthers claimed him off waivers in October. Clay flashed potential with Carolina last season, and he received a good amount of playing time towards the end of the year. He'll have an opportunity to carve out a role leading up to the season, and his contributions on special teams give him a boost.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay catches three passes in Carolina's playoff loss.

Clay gained 32 yards on his three receptions, but he unfortunately dropped a would-be touchdown on a perfect throw from Cam Newton to the end zone in the first quarter. He did respond well, though, including drawing a pass interference on a deep ball to set up the Panthers at about the ten-yard line. Clay is likely to have a role with the Panthers in 2018, but he's not a fantasy option as of now.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay catches one pass in loss to the Falcons.

It went for 15 yards. Clay appeared in nine games for Carolina in the regular season and caught five passes for 57 yards while chipping in two rushes for 27 yards. He'll be a role player in the playoffs.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay caught two passes for 24 yards in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers.

Clay converted a big first down in the playoff-clinching victory, but he won't be a fantasy option in Week 17 against the Falcons.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay caught one pass for 12 yards in Sunday's loss to the Saints.

The bigger impact for Clay came on a punt return where he lost a fumble, which was a crucial blow to Carolina as they played from behind. Clay isn't an option for the fantasy playoffs.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay returns punt for a touchdown in Week 12.

On offense, Clay received an end around that he zoomed down the sideline for 29 yards on, and he had a 60-yard punt return touchdown where he showed his breakaway speed. It's great to see the third-year receiver make huge plays for his team, but he's not a reliable fantasy option right now.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay catches one pass in Week 10.

Clay's one reception went for five yards, and his role isn't big enough to be a recommended fantasy option at the moment. The third-year receiver is just a dynasty league option for now.

Kaelin Clay | Giants WR

Kaelin Clay catches first career pass in Bills' win over the Broncos.

It went for 28 yards. Clay isn't a fantasy option, but good for him making his first NFL reception, and in a win nonetheless.
