Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (ankle) was officially a full participant in today's practice.

Coutee was close to playing on Monday night against the Saints in Week 1, but he'll be ready to go for the second game of the season when Houston faces Jacksonville. While Coutee was talked up by Deshaun Watson as someone the team needs to get the ball to, he's not a recommended play in Week 2. Coutee is worth a look as an end-of-bench pickup, though.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (ankle) is inactive for tonight's game.

Coutee appeared to have a decent chance of playing tonight against the Saints, but he's inactive as the Texans presumably play it safe with the second-year receiver. After he was able to practice on a limited basis leading up to tonight, Coutee is likely headed for another questionable tag for Week 2 against the Jaguars.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Monday night.

Coutee was able to practice on a limited basis all week in practice, and he looks to have given himself a realistic shot at playing in the Week 1 matchup at New Orleans on Monday evening. Coutee won't be a highly recommended fantasy option if he is active, but his presence would be a boost for Deshaun Watson and company.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (ankle) remains limited in practice.

Two straight limited practices is a good sign for Coutee, but we'll see how he's listed on the final Week 1 injury report when it's released tomorrow. Coutee is not expected to play on Monday night, but we'll see if he can at least get a questionable tag to give him a shot.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (ankle) was officially limited in today's practice.

Coutee is not expected to play on Monday night against the Saints, but perhaps he has a shot after getting in a limited practice to start the week. At the very least, this bodes well for Coutee being ready to go soon even if he doesn't suit up in Week 1.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Texans head coach Bill O'Brien doesn't think Keke Coutee will be ready for Week 1.

O'Brien says he's "not hopeful" about the second-year receiver being ready to go for the season opener against the Saints. Houston plays on Monday night in Week 1, so fantasy owners really can't rely on having Coutee in lineups unless he shows major progress in the next ten days. DeAndre Carter will likely be the next man up in the slot for the Texans, and he could provide some fantasy value in PPR leagues in particular while Coutee is out.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee's injury is reportedly an ankle injury.

Coutee got rolled up on pretty good and grabbed his leg, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says that "based on early returns, is not considered a major [injury]." More tests are likely coming for Coutee, but thankfully there's reason for optimism right now after many people were assuming the worst. If this is a high-ankle sprain for Coutee, it might make him questionable for Week 1.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee gets carted to the locker room during preseason game.

Coutee grabbed his knee before getting carted off, which probably isn't a good sign. It didn't look good, but hopefully the second-year receiver just suffered a hyperextension or just felt some discomfort, but we'll update you as more information becomes available. Coutee is currently locked in as Houston's slot receiver and has been talked up by quarterback Deshaun Watson this year.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Deshaun Watson praises Keke Coutee.

Watson says the second-year receiver is "playing a lot faster" and with more confidence this year, adding that "you never know what he's going to do with the ball in his hands" and that they need to find a way to get him the ball when he's on the field. This is obviously very high praise, but keep in mind it's coming in May. Still, Coutee showed major flashes when he was healthy and on the field last season—including an 11-catch, 109-yard game in his rookie debut and a 11-catch, 110-yard, 1-touchdown game in the playoff loss to the Colts. Coutee is locked in as a starter with DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller, and he should offer definite FLEX upside in 2019 fantasy drafts, particularly in PPR leagues.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee leads the Texans in receiving in playoff loss.

Coutee caught 11 passes for 110 yards and one touchdown in the Texans' Wild Card loss to the Colts. The rookie receiver probably played the best of anyone on Houston's offense, as he made himself available for Deshaun Watson and showed consistent hands throughout the game. The score was on a fourth-quarter swing pass where he stretched for the pylon; it looked like he might have lost the ball out of the end zone for a touchback, but it was ruled that he still had control while crossing the plane. Coutee appeared in just seven games (including today's playoff game) in his first NFL season while dealing with hamstring issues throughout the year, so he'll look to get his soft-tissue issues sorted out leading up to next season. Coutee will have at least FLEX upside in 2019, and he'll be a particularly strong option in PPR leagues.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially active against the Colts.

Coutee, who missed the last five games with the hamstring issues that have lingered all season and limited him to six games, is ready to go for the Texans’ Wild Card matchup. The rookie receiver might be the No. 2 option for Deshaun Watson in the postseason, so he must step up.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

The Texans have officially listed Keke Coutee (hamstring) as questionable for the Wild Card Round.

Coutee was able to practice fully all week, so we expect he'll be good to go against the Colts on Saturday. However, the Texans are listing him as questionable, so don't lock the rookie receiver in just yet. The team probably just wants to ensure Coutee can get through pre-game warmups without any setbacks, as he's dealt with multiple hamstring issues throughout his first NFL season.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was officially listed as a full participant in today's practice.

This indicates the Texans believe their rookie receiver should be ready to go for this Saturday's playoff game against the Colts. Coutee probably could've played toward the end os the regular season with his hamstring injury, but he should now be close to 100% after getting weeks of rest. With Demaryius Thomas out for the season, Coutee must step up for the Texans in the postseason.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 17.

The Texans probably have an eye toward the postseason for Coutee's return to the lineup. The rookie receiver's season ends with 28 receptions for 287 yards and one touchdown in six games. He'll look to get healthy and stay healthy for a postseason run.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 17.

As expected, Coutee was limited in practice all week. The rookie receiver looks like a potential game-time call, and it probably helps that the game is in Houston after he was ruled out while not taking the trip the past two weeks for road games. Coutee has to step up for the Texans in real life, but he's not a highly-recommended fantasy option if he's active on Sunday.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was officially a limited participant in today’s practice.

Coutee has been limited in practice basically all season, but the Texans could really use him back on the field soon after Demaryius Thomas’ Achilles injury. Expect Coutee to remain limited the next two days, but we’ll let you know if anything changes.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Week 16.

Coutee is not making the trip to Philadelphia, as was the case for last Saturday's matchup against the Jets in North Jersey. This is the fourth straight missed game for the rookie receiver, who remains week-to-week with the hamstring issues that have lingered during his first NFL season.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) has been listed as questionable for Sunday.

Coutee was limited in practice all week and is likely headed for a game-time call against the Eagles. It'd be a good sign if he makes the trip to Philadelphia tomorrow.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) remains limited in practice.

We'll let you know if anything changes, but expect Coutee to be a limited practice participant throughout the week. The rookie receiver would probably do well to be listed as questionable when the final Week 16 injury report is released on Friday.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 15.

The Texans just announced that Coutee will not be traveling to New York for tomorrow afternoon's matchup against the Jets. This is the rookie receiver's third straight missed game with the hamstring injury that's plagued him for most of the season.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Saturday.

Coutee was limited in practice all week, and he's headed for a game-time call to face the Jets. The rookie receiver's status will be known by 3:00 PM ET on Saturday.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) remains limited in practice.

Coutee will likely remain a limited participant tomorrow before being listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup with the Jets, but we'll update you when his official Week 15 status is released.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was officially limited in today's practice.

Coutee remains day-to-day with his hamstring injury, but he probably has a decent shot to play in Week 15. We'll track his practice status the next couple of days ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Jets,

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is inactive against the Colts.

Coutee is thought to be close to a return, but he’s not ready to face the Colts today. The rookie receiver had 11 receptions for 109 yards against Indy in their first matchup of the season, so the Texans will look for other guys like Demaryius Thomas to step up across from DeAndre Hopkins.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 14.

The rookie receiver is likely a true game-time call to face the Colts. The good news is Houston plays at 1:00 PM ET, so Coutee's status will be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited in today’s practice.

Coutee is likely to remain limited tomorrow before being listed as questionable for Week 14, but check back tomorrow to confirm his status.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited in today’s practice.

Coutee remains day-to-day with his hamstring injury, so he should be considered 50/50 for Week 14 against the Colts at this point.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially inactive for Week 13.

Coutee was said to be a game-time decision, and pre-game warmups apparently didn't go well enough for him to play against the Browns. Consider the rookie receiver week-to-week, but he should have a pretty good chance to play in Week 14.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) will be a game-time decision for Week 13.

Coutee has dealt with hamstring issues throughout his rookie season, and he doesn't seem likely to play this Sunday after just suffering another injury on Monday night. The Texans play at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, so Coutee's official game status will be known by 11:30 AM ET.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Couree is questionable to return against the Titans with a hamstring injury.

The rookie has been banged up all year, and it would be a surprise if he returned tonight. Coutee will finish with two receptions for 14 yards if his night is over, and he is probably in danger of missing next week’s game against the Browns.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee leads the Texans in Week 11 receiving.

Coutee was targeted a team-high nine times against the Redskins, catching five passes for 77 yards with a long of 40 yards. This was a good showing for the rookie receiver in his first game with Demaryius Thomas also in the lineup, and he looks to be in the FLEX mix for PPR leagues moving forward now that he's healthy.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially active for Week 11.

The rookie receiver was fully expected to be ready to go after the bye week, and he is indeed back in the lineup for the Texans. With six teams on a bye, Coutee is in the FLEX mix particularly for PPR leagues, but  ideally you'll have stronger options for your Week 11 fantasy lineup.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 9.

Coutee is not traveling with the Texans to Denver, so he's been ruled out despite being listed as questionable when the injury report was released yesterday. This is Coutee's second straight missed game, but we expect he'll be ready to face Washington after Houston's Week 10 bye. Demaryius Thomas could see a sizable number of targets in his first game with the Texans with Coutee out.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 9.

Coutee was able to be a limited participant in practice all week, so he looks to have a pretty good chance of playing on Sunday. However, it'll be difficult to trust the rookie receiver in fantasy lineups as more than a FLEX option. Coutee's status will be known by 2:35 PM ET on Sunday.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) remains limited in practice.

The rookie receiver is likely to remain limited tomorrow, and he’ll likely draw a questionable tag for Week 9. We’ll update you when his official game status becomes available.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited in today's practice.

Coutee has a shot to suit up this Sunday against the Broncos, but he'll likely remain the No. 3 receiver after the Texans' acquisition of Demaryius Thomas. We'll track Coutee's practice status throughout the week.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 8.

The Texans projected that Coutee would have been a limited participant all week in practice if they had practices instead of walkthroughs, so that's a positive sign that this might just be a one-game absence. The rookie receiver was going to have trouble playing tomorrow night on a quick turnaround, and DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller V should each get a lot of targets against the Dolphins.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) would have been limited in today's practice.

The Texans again listed practice estimates, as they just had a walkthrough and not an actual practice. We'll see how the rookie receiver is listed on the official injury report for the game when it's released tomorrow.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was listed as limited for today's practice.

The Texans participated in just a walkthrough the day after just playing a game, so this is a projection of how Coutee would have practiced if it was an actual practice. This indicates the rookie receiver might have a chance to play on Thursday night, but we'll monitor his practice status the next two days.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee's hamstring injury is not considered serious.

Coutee is almost certainly going to miss this Thursday's game against the Dolphins, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says he might not miss much more time than that. Consider the rookie receiver week-to-week for now, with DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller shouldering most of the receiving load for the Texans in his absence.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is out for the rest of today's game.

Coutee suffered the hamstring injury in the first half, and he's been ruled out to start the second half. The rookie receiver had one reception for three yards before leaving, and now we just have to hope this isn't a multi-week injury.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is questionable to return against the Jaguars.

The rookie receiver wasn't listed on the injury report this week, but he's dealt with hamstring injuries to start his career. Hopefully he's able to return to the game soon.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited in today’s practice.

Coutee has been limited in practice for weeks, so there’s no reason to be concerned about his Week 7 status. We’ll update you if anything changes, but expect the rookie receiver to be limited all week before carrying no injury designation into the weekend.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee caught three passes for 33 yards in Sunday's win over the Bills.

Coutee was second on the team with five targets, but Houston struggled to move the ball against Buffalo's underrated defense. While the rookie appears to get a difficult matchup next week against the Jaguars, Cole Beasley just stung them for 9/101/2 from the slot, so he shouldn't be completely faded in lineups.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee is not listed on the Week 6 injury report.

Like his fellow starting Texans receivers, Coutee was limited in practice throughout the week but is not on the injury report for Sunday's game. The impressive rookie is a FLEX option, particularly in PPR leagues, for Week 6 against the Bills.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) remains limited in practice.

The rookie receiver might be listed as questionable when the injury report is released tomorrow, but he's expected to be good to go for Sunday. A lack of practice time certainly hasn't seemed to affect Coutee's chemistry with Deshaun Watson yet.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited in practice.

The rookie receiver was limited in practice all last week but showed no affects during Sunday night's win against the Cowboys, racking up six more catches after putting up 11 receptions in his NFL debut. Nonetheless, we'll monitor Coutee's status throughout the week.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee scores first career touchdown in Texans' win.

Coutee caught a pass on a fly sweep motion for a one-yard score in the second quarter against the Cowboys. Overall, the rookie receiver caught six passes for 51 yards and a touchdown and added one carry for two yards. Coutee's 17 receptions through his first two games broke DeAndre Hopkins' franchise rookie record, and the rookie should remain a big part of Houston's offense moving forward.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially active for Week 5.

The rookie receiver is good to go tonight against the Cowboys. Coming off a debut record 11-catch performance last week, Coutee is a FLEX option in PPR leagues.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday night.

Coutee was limited in practice all week, so he's looking like a true questionable for Week 5. Will Fuller is also questionable with a hamstring injury, so DeAndre Hopkins would get even more targets than usual if both of them are out. We expect Coutee will be ready to face the Cowboys, but you should have a backup plan if you want him in your Week 5 fantasy lineup.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited in practice.

The rookie receiver was also limited yesterday, but he’s thought to be fine. Check back in on Coutee’s game status tomorrow.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) was limited in practice.

Coutee seemed fine in his superb 11-catch debut on Sunday, so this isn't anything to get worried about. Nevertheless, we'll monitor the rookie receiver's practice status throughout the week.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee plays great in NFL debut.

After missing the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury, the fourth-round rookie receiver immediately stepped into a big role on offense with Bruce Ellington on injured reserve. Coutee drew a team-high 15 targets from Deshaun Watson against the Colts, catching 11 passes for 109 yards. He also had two carries for -2 yards. Coutee's 11 receptions are the most in an NFL debut since 1970, passing Anquan Boldin and Earl Cooper (ten). It was just one game, but the former Texas Tech receiver should be one of the top waiver-wire adds this week.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee is off the Week 4 injury report.

Coutee has been limited all regular season with his hamstring injury, but the rookie receiver is set to make his NFL debut this Sunday against Indianapolis. Coutee isn't a recommended fantasy option in his first game, but he's someone to keep an eye on and could potentially become a clear starter for the Texans behind DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) remains limited in practice.

The rookie receiver continues to rack together limited practice sessions. We'll see if he can get up to a full practice before the weekend.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) remains limited in practice.

The rookie receiver has yet to appear in an NFL game, but he’s getting close to his pro debut. The Texans will likely be counting on Coutee soon after Bruce Ellington was placed on injured reserve.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is out for Week 2.

The Texans have downgraded the rookie receiver out before their trip to Tennessee. Consider Koutee week-to-week as he looks to make his NFL debut.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is inactive for Week 1.

The fourth-round rookie receiver will have to wait to make his NFL debut for the Texans. With Will Fuller also out with a hamstring injury, the Texans are thin at receiver to open the year.

Keke Coutee | Texans WR

The Texans have selected Texas Tech wide receiver Keke Coutee with the 103rd pick (fourth round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Coutee profiles as a speedy slot receiver that put up big numbers last year at Texas Tech (93 receptions for 1,429 yards and 10 touchdowns), but he also has the ability to play outside. If he reaches his potential, Houston will have a fast, dynamic receiving core for Deshaun Watson with DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, and Coutee. It's unlikely the rookie will be worth drafting in redraft leagues this summer, but he's someone to keep an eye on as a handcuff to Will Fuller.
